lyrics

was feeling existential trying to understand,
why half my life was in my hands and half was in the sand

a lot was going right, a lot was going wrong
I listened to the radio and hated every song

how were we supposed to know, where we're supposed to go

stepped out of my body and noticed all the noise
it was bouncing side to side inside and mostly in my head

pulled in eight directions like a doctor who's on call,
trying to walk the wire and was hoping not to fall

how were we supposed to know
where we're supposed to go..

there was a week when I had it all
friends money and a car
I'm still in search for one more piece...
